Mcor is one of the few specialist practices in Ireland with a dedicated focus on the cost management of conservation projects. This division is led by Tony O’Regan, accredited SCSI Conservation Surveyor, who has worked extensively with historic buildings and protected structures throughout his career.
Our practice has wide-ranging experience in the cost management of significant conservation projects, including national monuments, civic and public buildings, churches of all denominations, medieval walls and towers, castles and fortifications, institutional buildings, town and country houses, commercial properties and historic landscape and public realm works. These projects have been delivered on behalf of a broad client base, including government departments, public bodies, local authorities, harbour authorities, religious orders, development partnerships, housing associations, commercial institutions and private individuals.
Mcor has a proven track record of working collaboratively with specialist conservation architects, engineers, archaeologists, art historians, interpretative consultants and historic landscape advisors, contributing strongly to a shared team ethos that ensures a full range of specialist expertise is effectively integrated on each project.
The practice is a member of both SPAB (The Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings) and The Irish Georgian Society, reflecting our long-standing commitment to the protection and sensitive restoration of Ireland’s architectural heritage.
